Can you say "Dynasty?"

The Cowboy Cross Country team captured its third national title in four years at the 2012 NCAA Championships at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.

Cross CountryCoach Dave Smith's Pokes earned 72 points, beating defending champ Wisconsin by 63 points to claim the school's 51st NCAA team title in all sports.

OSU's top four runners put in career-best performances at the championship meet. Senior Girma Mecheso led the Pokes, finishing the 10K course in fifth place with a time of 29:14.8. By finishing in the top 40, Mecheso, Farrell, Kipchirchir and Manilfasha all earned All-American honors.

Running in his first NCAA championship, Shane Moskowitz (30:22.6), clinched the title by finishing 53rd to round out the team scoring. Kirubel Erassa (30:44.8) and Fabian Clarkson (31:15.2) finished 102nd and 164th, respectively.
