The OSU POSSE is always looking for donated items to be auctioned off during our Benefit Auction. When it comes to items up for bid, the sky’s the limit … Items can range from condo stays and time shares to landscape design and guttering, hardware and appliances to sports memorabilia and event tickets, gift certificates and home furnishings. For all items provided, the donor will receive Gift-In-Kind credit for the value of the item, including Priority Points and any applicable POSSE benefits, as well as a tax deduction. Following is a breakdown showing how auction contributions will be credited:

ITEM DONOR
• Receives Gift-in-Kind (soft credit) that may be applied toward POSSE membership, but not donor seating requirements

ITEM ACQUIRER
• True volunteer role only
           
ITEM BUYER
• Receives Priority Points (1 per $100)
• Does NOT receive soft (Gift-in-Kind) credit or annual POSSE benefits
• Experiences the social aspect of the auction
• Donates knowing their auction participation is benefiting OSU student-athletes

To donate an item to the upcoming 2010 Auction, call the POSSE office at 877-2B-POSSE or contact us at posse@okstate.edu or call 405-744-7301. A Contribution Agreement form will need to be filled out and returned to the OSU POSSE office. Information on this form will help us package it with other donated items, provide a detailed listing in the Auction Program, and give proper credit to the donor.
