Named after OSU greats Henry P. Iba and Bob Fenimore, the Iba-Fenimore Society was established in 1995 to provide venture capital to develop a margin for excellence in all sports at OSU. Membership in the Iba-Fenimore Society consists of donors who pledge $1,000 per year above and beyond their regular contributions.
The society plays a vital role in the future of the OSU Athletic Village. With five venue projects planned in the near future, this fund will be of high importance to the quality and availability of planning resources. The objective behind the fund is to enhance operations, facilities and other endeavors of the Athletic Department. The fund provides the financial resources for professional consultant services, architectural blueprints and artist renderings for future projects.
Along with architectural planning, the fund is also used to maintain other facility needs such as the beautiful Heritage Hall museum in Gallagher-Iba Arena. Also, the society contributes to multiple needs throughout the Athletic Department; this fund is a major support to our annual operating budget, helping to cover unbudgeted, unplanned business expenses that arise throughout the year. Further, the society presents the annual Hall of Honor Banquet, inducting worthy individuals and teams from OSU’s proud history.
