POSSE donor levels are based on a donor’s total annual giving during the POSSE year (July 1 - June 30). These donations are used to determine POSSE benefits for the subsequent sports season(s) and for the calculation of Priority Points.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the POSSE office located?
The POSSE office is located on the Oklahoma State University campus in Stillwater, inside the OSU Athletics Center (home of historic Gallagher-Iba Arena). VIEW STREET MAP / VIEW CAMPUS MAP / GET DIRECTIONS
For your convenience, we are located near the Ticket Office in the east lobby of the arena, directly across from the escalators. Please refer to the contact section of this website for our mailing address and additional info.

Why does the POSSE want my e-mail address?
The POSSE has an increasing need to contact members quickly. The POSSE's E-News is an additional means of sending seasonal information to members, especially on time-sensitive issues. The POSSE respects your privacy as a member and will not share this information with any other individual, private group or organization.

Can I renew my tickets and POSSE donation at the same time?
You may renew your tickets and pay your POSSE donation at the same time by calling the Athletics Ticket Office (877-ALL-4-OSU). A representative can assist you in both processes with one phone call. You can also renew your tickets and POSSE donations online at okstate.com, but you must make two separate secure payments – one for tickets and one for the required donation. Please refer to your POSSE renewal statement for amount.

Is there a payment plan for season tickets?
Arrangements can be made to submit multiple payments for individuals who find it difficult to make one lump sum payment for season tickets. Full payment must be received before the May 1 season ticket deadline.

Is there a payment plan for donations and/or donor seating?
A number of convenient payment plans are available for donors. Your scheduled donation may be paid out automatically via credit card or bank draft, or payment terms may be arranged through the POSSE office. Full payment must be received prior to deadline in order to qualify for donor seating. Please note that Priority Points are calculated based on payment received.

How does the POSSE determine gameday parking?
Several factors dictate the location of POSSE parking. One factor is the availability of lots for rent from OSU Parking and Transit. The POSSE rents each space from the university on a game-by-game basis. Once the number of spaces is known, the POSSE tabulates the number of donors within each donor level and assigns each parking lot accordingly from the top down, beginning with the lots closest to the stadium and working outward. Parking lots are maximized to use every space and ensure that qualifying donors have ample parking alternatives on gameday. Another factor affecting POSSE parking is the ongoing stadium renovation. The POSSE works with university and construction officials to secure the maximum amount of parking possible on gameday, as construction permits.

Does my contribution for donor seating qualify me as a POSSE member?
If your donor seating contribution is $150 or more in the form of an unrestricted gift or designated to an individual sport, then your contribution automatically qualifies you as a POSSE member.

When will I receive my POSSE renewal statement?
POSSE renewals are mailed early in the year for football donor seating and later in the spring for men’s basketball donor seating and all other gifts. The deadline to renew football season tickets and football donor seating is May 1. Donations made after June 30, while immediately earning Priority Points, will not be applied toward POSSE annual benefits (such as parking, donor level, etc.) until the following year.

When will I receive my POSSE benefit packet?
POSSE benefit packets are distributed in August, prior to the first home football game. Packet contents vary depending on POSSE donor level.

Is my gift to the POSSE tax-deductible?
Yes. IRS guidelines rule all contributions as tax-deductible, varying in percentages. The OSU Foundation will mail an official tax receipt once the gift is received. It is recommended that individuals consult their tax adviser regarding specific tax issues. Click here for more tax information.

How can I improve my seat location?
Boone Pickens Stadium: To improve football seat location, please note your desired change on your season ticket renewal form in as much detail as possible. Since seat improvements are considered on a Priority Point basis, your chances are enhanced by a higher Priority Point ranking. Seat improvements are made as availability allows. Deadline for requests is April 1.
Gallagher-Iba Arena: Because of high demand and limited seating availability for men’s basketball, donors must qualify for seat upgrades by meeting the minimum point requirements for the section being requested. If seats are available, donors who request and qualify for upgrades are ranked by Priority Points. Improvements are made as availability allows. Deadline for gifts and requests is June 30. Click here for specific policies and point requirements.

How has the Priority Points system changed?
All gifts made to the POSSE are valued at three Priority Points per $100 donated and will continue at this rate.

Will ticket prices/donor requirements continue to rise?
Changes in pricing are made in response to scholarship costs, annual operating costs and debt service for the department. To compete, OSU will seek a balance between charging a competitive, fair price and running the program efficiently.

What about Football & Basketball dual account holders?
Now more than ever, we need your support! We’re sensitive to the issue of pricing with tickets and donations, but it’s critical that we generate additional revenue going forward to be competitive in the Big 12. We appreciate your past support ... and hope it continues.

Doesn’t loyalty count for anything?
Yes. The Priority Point system will continue to reward season ticket holders and long-time donors based upon consecutive years of giving and consecutive ticket purchases. However, loyal donors and fans of other Big 12 institutions have raised the bar on us. The die-hard support of OSU fans in the past does not go unappreciated, but OSU needs more than just your vocal support. Competitive donor seat pricing is one way we can make a difference and build long-term success for our total sports program.
