Prime Time
Oklahoma State (8-0)
vs. Kansas State (7-1)
Saturday, Nov. 5
Kickoff 7:00 pm (Central)
Boone Pickens Stadium
The stakes just keep getting bigger for the third-ranked Cowboy Football squad, as No. 17 Kansas State comes to town for a Saturday evening tilt. Kickoff is set for 7 pm at Boone Pickens Stadium. The game will be televised on ABC/ESPN2.
OSU enters the game leading the Big 12 with a 5-0 conference record and a perfect 8-0 mark overall. Kansas State is coming off of its first loss of the season after seven straight victories to start 2011. A win on Saturday would improve OSU to 9-0 for the second time ever and match the best start in school history. The 1945 team finished its season with a 9-0 record. That total included a Sugar Bowl victory.
During the game, donation buckets will be passed in support of the Ray Murphy Endowed Scholarship, in honor of the late Cowboy wrestler.
Get ready for the game with the help of OSU's online Gameday Guide. The site is your source for matchup information (including rosters, schedules and stats from the Cowboys and Wildcats), as well as gameday happenings like The Walk and Hall of Fame Block Party, broadcast info, parking maps, weather forecasts, links of local interest and more.
Speaking of the Block Party, this week will feature the Cowboy Car Show, presented by Kicker. Starting at 4 pm, a number of orange and OSU-themed rides will be on display on the north side of the stadium.
