Standing O
The Oklahoma State family mourns the loss of former Cowboy radio broadcaster Bob Barry, Sr. ... The voice of OSU football and men's basketball from 1973 through 1990 passed away Saturday at the age of 80.

Bob Sr., as he was known, remained popular with Cowboy and Oklahoma Sooner fans, after having served as the radio voice of both schools during his 50-year career. A true gentleman, his gregarious personality and infectious laugh will be dearly missed. Our condolences go out to his son, Bob Barry, Jr., and the entire Barry family.

A video tribute to "Big" Bob Barry can be viewed at KFOR.com.

The undefeated Cowboys are riding high and looking to go 9-0 on the season.

Prime Time

Oklahoma State (8-0) Football
vs. Kansas State (7-1)
Saturday, Nov. 5
Kickoff 7:00 pm (Central)
Boone Pickens Stadium

The stakes just keep getting bigger for the third-ranked Cowboy Football squad, as No. 17 Kansas State comes to town for a Saturday evening tilt. Kickoff is set for 7 pm at Boone Pickens Stadium.
The game will be televised on ABC/ESPN2.

OSU enters the game leading the Big 12 with a 5-0 conference record and a perfect 8-0 mark overall. Kansas State is coming off of its first loss of the season after seven straight victories to start 2011. A win on Saturday would improve OSU to 9-0 for the second time ever and match the best start in school history. The 1945 team finished its season with a 9-0 record. That total included a Sugar Bowl victory.

During the game, donation buckets will be passed in support of the Ray Murphy Endowed Scholarship, in honor of the late Cowboy wrestler.

Get ready for the game with the help of OSU's online Gameday Guide. The site is your source for matchup information (including rosters, schedules and stats from the Cowboys and Wildcats), as well as gameday happenings like The Walk and Hall of Fame Block Party, broadcast info, parking maps, weather forecasts, links of local interest and more.

Speaking of the Block Party, this week will feature the Cowboy Car Show, presented by Kicker. Starting at 4 pm, a number of orange and OSU-themed rides will be on display on the north side of the stadium.

SoccerCowgirls Advance
in Big 12 Tourney

After claiming the regular season Big 12 Championship last week with a win over Texas Tech, the No. 2 ranked (and still undefeated) Cowgirl Soccer squad is taking aim at the postseason tournament title.

They took their first step toward that goal last night with a 1-nil victory over the Sooners in San Antonio. It was the third Bedlam win this season for the Cowgirls, who now sit at 18-0-2 on the year.

Top-seeded OSU will face fifth-seeded Texas Friday night at 5:30 pm in the second round.
The winner will face either Missouri or Texas A&M on Sunday at 3:30 pm for the trophy.

Follow "Cowgirl FC" (Football Club) on their way to another title. Check out Big12Sports.com for complete tournament info including live video of the matches ... Sunday's championship match will be televised on FSN. Updates will also be posted via Twitter: @CowgirlFC and Facebook.

OSU is a good bet to host NCAA Regional action once again this fall. The NCAA 64-team Selection Show is set for Monday, Nov. 7.

BBallHoop It Up!

Cowboy Basketball played its first exhibition game last night, defeating Panhandle State 105-56. Led by highly-touted freshman Le'Bryan Nash's double-double (26 points, 11 rebounds) Coach Travis Ford is putting an exciting product on the floor.

The Pokes will take the court this Sunday at 2 pm for their final exhibition against Oklahoma Baptist. The men's first regular-season game is set for Nov. 11 vs. Texas A&M–Corpus Christi at 7 pm.

For ticket information, including new pricing throughout the 300 level, visit okstate.com's new Virtual Venue. Fans can also choose from new Weekend and Weekday 2-Packs (excluding KU). There's also a special 4-pack to catch the entire season from the 300 level for $900. Don't forget, single-game tickets are also available for all men's home contests, starting at $10 for non-conference games.

Cowgirl Basketball will host Fort Hays State Nov. 9, in an exhibition starting at 7 pm. Kurt Budke's squad opens the regular season Nov. 13 against Rice at 2 pm. Cowgirl season tickets start at $140 for reserved seats. Single games are just $10 or choose a 16-event Olympic Sports Punch Card for $100. Admission is free for Pistol Pete's Partners and OSU students.
